TOPEKA (KSNT) – Washburn Tech will hold its 24th annual Car Show early next month.

Starting at 9 a.m. and running until 2:30 p.m., May 3, residents can attend a free car show at 5724 SW Huntoon Street. Money raised will benefit Care Closet, a committee that works to provide financial support to students.

Washburn University spokeswoman Lori Hutchinson says the car show will feature cars trucks and motorcycles with vehicles divided into five classes: muscle cars, antique cars, trucks, special interest and custom/low riders and motorcycles.

The event will also have food trucks, a silent auction, music, a bake sale, toy car races, games and more.

To enter a vehicle in the event you can preregister by clicking here. Entry fees for the show are $20 before the event or $25 on the day of the show.
