Noticeably cooler weather settles in for the end of the week as our winds shifted out of the north this morning. A few lingering showers and storms may be possible behind the front into the early afternoon, and winds will be breezy again with gusts around 30-35mph out of the north and west. Highs today will only reach the lower 60s, at best this afternoon if we can get a bit of sunshine.

After this system, we look to dry out for a few days apart from an isolated shower or two late Friday night into early Saturday morning. We should be mostly sunny by Sunday, though. Highs for the end of the week and through the weekend will likely be in the upper 50s to lower 60s with overnight lows back in the upper 30s!

By early next week, we do warm back up close to 70° for Monday and Tuesday as our winds shift back around to the south. Our next chance for rain may end up holding off until late Monday night and into Tuesday, and with a bit more of an active pattern, we may even see a few showers or storms on Wednesday, too.
