President Donald Trump sounded unaffected by the personal attacks aimed at him by Elon Musk during a phone call Friday.

The Trump-Musk relationship deteriorated quickly Thursday after the Tesla and SpaceX CEO said he was against the “one big, beautiful bill” passed by the House. The sweeping tax cut and spending bill promotes the president’s agenda.

“Nothing catches me by surprise. Nothing,” Trump told the New York Post about Musk’s attacks before quickly pointing to his poll numbers and a better than expected May jobs report.
