President Joe Biden tried to parse his words carefully after being asked point-blank as he came off Air Force One Friday about his use of the word “illegal” to describe the man charged in the death of a slain Georgia nursing student, according to Mediate.

During the State of the Union address Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., heckled Biden, prompting the president to react and refer to the alleged killer of 22-year-old Laken Riley as “an illegal.”

Upon stepping off Air Force One, Biden was asked by a reporter, “Do you regret using the word ‘illegal’ to describe immigrants last night, sir?”
