New York City Democrat mayoral primary winner Zohran Mamdani continues to hold a strong lead in the race, according to a poll of registered voters from Slingshot Strategies.

The Slingshot poll puts Mamdani, a self-declared “democratic socialist,” on top at 35%, 10 points ahead of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa is in third at 14%. Incumbent Mayor Eric Adams is at 11% support. Attorney Jim Walden garnered 1%.

The poll results show 13% of the respondents were unsure and 1% picked another candidate.
