The Department of Justice has released a watchdog report, previously held back as classified, that shows the FBI under President Barack Obama failed to review all available information about the private email server used by his secretary of state, Hillary Clinton.
The Office of Inspector General’s internal review of the investigation, now referenced as the “Clinton Annex,” indicates the FBI overlooked key evidence in its Clinton probe, including several unexamined thumb drives.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said in a release,”This document shows an extreme lack of effort and due diligence in the FBI’s investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s email usage and mishandling of highly classified information.”
