NY AG James Condemns Columbia Protests While on Faculty

New York State Attorney General Letitia James released a statement this week condemning the antisemitic rhetoric displayed at Columbia University, yet said she plans to remain on as a faculty member.

As first reported by the New York Post, James offered words of concern for the escalating demonstrations at Columbia University while serving as a visiting Professor of Public Policy in the Faculty of International and Public Affairs. 

According to her faculty bio, James has been in the role since 2021. Her salary in 2023 was $15,000 for the part-time assignment with plans to teach in 2024 with an increased compensation of $20,000, the Post reported.
