The Ohio Republican Party is endorsing Vivek Ramaswamy as its nominee for governor next year.

Ramaswamy, who ran for president in 2024, is running to succeed Republican Gov. Mike DeWine, who is ineligible to seek reelection due to term limits.

“Grateful to receive the endorsement of the Ohio Republican Party by a historic 60-3 margin,” Ramaswamy said on social media. “We’re laser focused on growing our Republican voter base & delivering a decisive victory in ’26.”
