Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., went on the offensive Tuesday against the Trump administration for the “outrageous” delay of a scheduled congressional briefing on the Israel-Iran ceasefire that was announced by President Donald Trump on Monday.

The Hill reported that Minority Leader Schumer met with reporters in Washington and said the two-day delay in the meeting was unacceptable. “This last-minute postponement of our briefing is outrageous, it’s evasive, it’s derelict,” he said.

Schumer chastised the administration for “bobbing and weaving and ducking.” He said a show of respect would be a good thing.
