House Speaker Mike Johnson on Sunday called President Donald Trump’s megabill “jet fuel” for the nation’s economy and said he expects two more reconciliation bills before the current Congress wraps up. 

The Louisiana Republican said in a Fox News interview that the big, beautiful bill’s passage and signing are a “huge leap forward for our priorities,” which he added includes a second reconciliation bill by fall and a third one by spring.

“I think we can do that, and so you’ll see more of us advancing these common-sense principles to deliver that American First agenda for the people,” the speaker said. “That’s what they elected us to do, and this was hugely forward.”
